Welcome to me professional blog. This is a promotion as it used to be my personal blog which is now hosted at stephen durr dot com. The sites I have hosted on this domain have formed my own personal portfolio over the years which is now hosted on stephen durr dot co dot uk and has now been scaled down.

I am setting up a new personal site soon and will continue to use this in its current form. It is my aim to build a popular source of information relating to web development and design as I progress through the world of IT but for now it is just my own findings and feelings.

My areas of focus are primarily PHP, Apache, Linux and MYSQL. I am also interested in xHTML, CSS and jQuery. Out side of development I am keen on researching SEO techniques and trudging through the mine filed that is search engine optimisation. One of the roles in my current job is the SEO “Expert / Guru”. I have a lot to learn….
